Kia K5 2025+ Diffuser Installation Instructions

Step 1: Identify 3M Tape Locations

  1. Locate all pre-applied 3M tape areas. These are the primary contact points that will secure the diffuser to the bumper before drilling. The Bottom Picture represents the 3M on the lip (this is extremely important as there are no screws up here and the 3M must be perfect for it to not lift back)

Step 2: ( IMPORTANT) Creating New Center Screw Points

  1. Along with the given screw holes, youre going to be create a few of your own using a drill and a screw or a drill bit. These middle screw points ensure better stability and wont allow the diffuser to tilt down and pull away from the license plate. 

Step 3: Align & Attach the 3 Pieces 

  1. Peel off the 3M tape, align the center diffuser piece, and press firmly into place. Once aligned, drill through the ABS diffuser into the bottom of the bumper for a secure fit.
  2. Align the side pieces with the center section and attach using the same method as Step 2.

 

Step 4: Adding Supports (Optional for GT-Line Models) 

  1. GT Models: Due to exhaust placement, install the included supports using 3M tape to help hold the side pieces in position depending on exhaust clearance.
  2. GT-Line Models: This step is optional. Side pieces can be secured directly where the factory exhaust trim area is. Supports may still be used if additional stability is desired.

 

Step 5: For GT-Line Models (Optional)

  1. The diffuser does overlap a very small part of your exhaust, if you are concerned about it you are easily able to cut out that section from the diffuser to let it flow free (Check Reference Below)
